“Georgian Ecotourism Association” is a non-commercial legal entity, whose main activity is promoting the development of ecotourism in Georgia through the creation of new ecotourism products. The purpose of the association is to develop and popularize ecological tourism products in the country, which is focused on environmental protection and conservation, preserving the authentic environment, which is the main motive for ecotourist travel.

They state : We strongly believe in the mission of EGWA and are eager to become a member of your network. Our goal is to integrate our green routes into the European Greenways framework, contributing to the development of eco-friendly travel options and sustainable mobility across Europe.

Georgia is a member of the Council of Europe.
